Christiaan is an artist & freelance designer / animator / compositor from Cape Town, South Africa who interprets words into visuals.  Being a creative problem solver he’s usually involved in a project from the earliest stages of production. This involves planning of sequences, drawing storyboards, developing transitions and designing the look and feel. He also loves to emerge himself in the final craft of polishing and finessing a piece of work. 

Christiaan is experienced in working with larger teams, directing the animation process and visual narrative. He is versatile and his work portfolio consists of a diverse range of animation styles.

Christiaan has a passion for drawing and illustration and his personal artwork consists of surreal, dreamlike landscapes which mirror his abstract thought process.
